Yokaw asked me to join in on her make up team for the Ilja Visser show she'd assembled. I felt honoured and pressured to not let both her and her agency down, being such a 'beginner' and all.. I'm pleased to say it went well, without any complications.
The look she'd come up with was one I loved, more graphic rather than beauty'ish. An alienesque white-out, so to say.
This is all the material I've found so far.
Yo putting on the final touches on "my" base. (So stole this off your FB, sorry!)
Earlier in the day I'd done this HouseOfOrange organized thingiething where we collectively put the shine on some old people in this, whatitcalled, oldpeoplehouse. I'll not conclude the dermatological horrors I've encountered but it felt good doing something for others good putting glittery gold nailpolish on demented 90+ year old's.
When it was my turn to shine I figured some dollar-inspired pattern would work with my freshly donned dollar-leggings. Don't think anyone who's seen my face that night had any notion it had anything to do with dollars but it was aesthetically pleasing nonetheless.
